Location: Built by General Amar Singh in 1928, Narain Niwas Palace is one of the oldest heritage hotels in Jaipur. General Amar Singh was Commander of the Jaipur State Forces and a confidant of the then Maharaja Sawai Man Singh. A witness to the royal times, Narain Niwas Palace is located about 11 kilometres from the airport and five kilometres from the railway station.
Facilities: Though built by General Amar Singh, it was his brother Thakur Shivnath Singh who supervised the construction of the palace. The palace was named after their father Thakur Narain Singh. Narain Niwas Palace has 28 elegantly designed rooms that bear a mark of the erstwhile royal era. Fully equipped with modern day comforts, the air-conditioned rooms have attached bathrooms with the option of hot and cold water.
