 Location: Built in 1943 by architect H V Lancaster, Umaid Bhawan Palace is a magnificent example of one of the best royal places in Rajsthan. Even H V Lancaster planned the royal palace to equal the beauty and splendour of Viceroy House or the Rashtrpati Bhawan in Delhi built by Lutyens. A part of the Umaid Bhawan Palace has been converted into a luxurious hotel and a museum. The palace is located about five kilometres from the airport and six kilometres from the railway station.
Facilities: The 98-room hotel is well equipped with all the modern facilities. The rooms at the palace have been divided into Maharaja Suite, Maharani Suite, Palace Chamber, Palace Room and Regal Suite.
