Facilities: The Royal Desert Camp offers the camping village during the Pushkar Fair with boarding and lodging facilities in the same tradition. The royal camps capture the luxurious nostalgia of a bygone age of the maharaja's safari and shikar camps, combined with innovative design demonstrating many of the skills and crafts of Marwar.  The accommodation consists of well-appointed Swiss cottages and deluxe tents complete with linen, furniture, carpet and facilities in specially designed modern toilets with running hot and cold water. Excellent Indian and Continental meals are served in the tented dining hall. Other facilities include camels and camel carts for riding, safaris and sightseeing, round the clock coffee shop, tourist information counter, parking facilities, telephone, laundry, room service, doctor on call. The campfire is the focal point for the evening entertainment program with rhythms of the Thar-music, dancing magicians, puppet shows, jugglers, flaming torches and camel parades.
Sightseeing: While staying at the Royal Desert Camp in Pushkar you can look for the nearby tourist attractions. You can also visit the renowned temple of Brahma which happens to be the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in India and is a must visit on your trip to Pushkar. Then there is the temple dedicated to the wife of Lord Brahma, Savitri at the hilltop. Besides the temples there are several Ghats around the lake that are worth visiting. Visit the picturesque Pushkar Lake that makes an important pilgrimage spot for the Hindus. The 'Nag Pahar' or the snake mountain is also situated in Pushkar and is one of the most visited tourist spot.
